Simultaneous indication of Value & Tan Delta: This facility is very important for capacitor manufacturers as the TAN D is equally or  more important for certain capacitors.

TAN DELTA resolution:  High resolution  is very  important  for power capacitors measurement

ESR: Measurement of ESR ( Equivalent series resistance) is another feature  for the Capacitance testing. This parameter is important for power capacitors and electrolytic capacitors.

Calibration Stability: The readings are highly reliable and frepeatable as the instrument is controlled by a Crystal controlled oscillator and  measurement is decided purely by  standard resistor. As long as the instrument is in working order there will be very negligible drift in calibration. There is no calibration adjustment.

RS232C PC control software: (option)
With RS232C option you can hook the instrument to a PC. Under the menu driven control software  you can preset the limits and Maximum TAN DELTA or ESR LIMTS for PASS/FAIL indication. The instrument receives the control from the  computer to test the capacitor. After testing the capacitor it communicates the measured values to the controlling computer. The computer analyses the results and displays the values with results in the monitor.

Data capture (option): The control software can  capture the tested data into a fox-pro compatible data table. You can use this data for reporting and analysis. You can import this data like any other database table into other softwares which can import fox-pro .dbf file.

Multi testing:
Under this facility you will be able to test the capacitor at different test conditions and different test frequencies at one go basis. For example, you can test Capcitance value at 1KHz,  and at 5KHz, Tan D, ESR at one stroke. Each test may take 0.75 sec.
